Founded in 2019, The Studio is the vision of Rachael, a contemporary jewellery designer, metalsmith, and gem cutter based in Melbourne, where she lives with her two daughters.
Rachael’s journey into the world of jewellery is one of passion, perseverance, and self-discovery. Entirely self-taught, she has spent over 10 years mastering metalsmith techniques and the intricate art of gemstone cutting. Her dedication to her craft is evident in every piece she creates, each one infused with a story, a moment, or a fragment of nature's beauty.
"My inspiration comes from the natural world," Rachael shares.
"I am always scanning life for shapes and textures that I can incorporate into my designs. I like my jewellery to capture both the rawness and the brilliant beauty of gemstones, creating pieces that can be worn effortlessly with everyday styles."

Complementing Rachael’s creative vision is Aby, our highly skilled artisan jeweller with over 30 years of industry experience. Aby’s expertise spans traditional jewellery-making techniques, stone setting, and fine craftsmanship. With an exceptional eye for detail and a deep understanding of materials, Aby ensures every piece is crafted to perfection, blending timeless techniques with contemporary design.
